Kowalski’s & Miyabi now open at Excelsior Marketplace

As of July 29th, Kowalski’s opened its first new store in seven years. Located at Excelsior Marketplace, the new store is composed of 18,000 square feet. Even though that’s a little smaller than their typical store, it also has a few more amenities including a hot pasta bar, hot sandwich bar and expanded sushi program.

Along with Kowalski’s, Excelsior Marketplace is now home to a new restaurant known as Miyabi Japanese & Asian Bistro. Miyabi, open as of today, July 31st, is a new restaurant concept by Nick Chong, specializing in Asian fusion and Japanese steakhouse fare.

When asked about these latest additions, Peter Armbrust, leasing agent for Oppidan at Excelsior Marketplace stated that, “Kowalski’s filled a grocery void in Excelsior, and did so with an incredible store. They’re a great addition to Excelsior Marketplace and for the city of Excelsior. And, with the addition of Miyabi, it further solidifies Excelsior’s reputation as a growing, destination restaurant scene.”
